Should i get checked out? i have redness around my vagina area and has pain sometimes is it a rash or is it something i should get checked out?

Is there any vaginal discharge? One possibility could be decreased vaginal secretions if you are an older woman. If you are younger and sexually active, if you are not adequately aroused prior to sexual activity, you may not be well enough lubricated and develop a rash due to friction. If this problem has been there for a while it would be worth being evaluated by a physician.
