Make : Make sure you are eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. You may consider a fiber supplement, starting with a very small amount and slowly increasing the amount daily. Also a daily stool softener like colace may help. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) is also good for constipation. Lastly, you should see your doctor for this problem to rule out medical causes (irritable bowel syndrome, throid issues, colon cancer, etc.) finally maintain adequate hydration. All the best.

Fiber is good but: If you are not drinking enough fluid it can lead to constipation. Remember caffeine and alcohol dehydrate and lead to constipation. Generally i recommend 80-100 ounces of caffeine free/alcohol free fluids every day. It will take 10-14 days of this regimen to see improvement. If not better need to have a GI workup for other causes of constipation.
