Repeat: I assume you are talking about cell changes on a pap smear. We would repeat the pap in 3-6 months.

"Minor cell changes": Assuming what is meant by "minor cell changes" refers to pap smear results, depending on whether the results show a degree of "dysplasia", your gyn physician may recommend colposcopy with cervical biopsies if indicated by same. If the "cell change" does not show any dysplasia, a repeat pap smear in a year or more should be sufficient for safety.
