How can bulimia affect pregnancy?

Yes: Any eating disorder can affect pregnany if the mother is not receiving enough nutrients to support herself and her developing baby. Poor weight gain in pregnany is associated with low birth weight infants, and preterm delivery. The vomiting associated with bulimia can cause electrolyte distrubances and certainly increased discomfort during pregnancy.
