Gonorrhea: Gonorrhea indeed is cleared by the immune system, usually within a few months. But before it is gone, it can cause very dangerous health problems, like fallopian tube infection (pelvic inflammatory disease, PID), which can make a woman infertile. Many other problems as well. If you think you have gonorrhea or were exposed, do not screw around: see a doctor or clinic ASAP. Good luck!
