Sudafed: The likelihood is that you won't be bothered. People who are very sensitive to stimulants might have problems with overstimulation, agitation or palpitations. However, if you are being rx'd Ritalin (methylphenidate) @20mg at least once a day, you're unlikely to be overly sensitive. Sudafed can come in a large extended release dose, but you didn't specify. That could affect you more.

Both pseudoephedrine: (some preps last 12 hours) and methylphenidate can increase blood pressure and heart rate, and combining them may enhance these effects. Talk to your doctor before using these medications, especially if you have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease. Best to wait until tomorrow to take your ritalin. Best regards.
