There : There are many issues that can cause pelvic pain. I am glad that you had complete imaging studies and blood work that were normal. Scar tissue from prior surgeries, endometriosis (which is where uterine tissue has implanted elsewhere in the uterus), ovarian cysts, and irritable bowel are some conditions that can cause ongoing pelvic pain or abdominal pain. Sometimes there is medical treatment that can help the symptoms of these conditions. Some women need to go on hormonal therapy to control their symptoms and it is reasonable to ask your gynecologist regarding that if you are interested.
