Hello. : Hello. You might wish to consider taking a pregnancy test. You may have had a light period, or by the manner described, this might be consistent with implantation spotting. This occurs when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall. It can cause slight cramping with some spotting. Pregnancy symptoms can occur about the time of a missed period and can include: nausea, breast swelling or tenderness, fatigue, increased urinary frequency, abdominal enlargement, mild cramping, food cravings.
