How easy or difficult will it be to give an accurate interpretation of the brain/spine mri images done at another facility? i have been informed that each radiological facilities have different protocols/sequences and runs programs differently; therefore,

It : It should be fairly straight forward. Some radiology practices have a policy against providing an official over-read, while others will routinely provide this service. You will need to have your physician request an official reading. They will then import your images into their system and read your study. The techniques used to acquire the images may be slightly different; however, rendering an accurate reading should be easy.

Qualifications: The most important difference is in the qualifications of the interpreting radiologist. For example, there are radiologists with fellowship/additional training in neuro radiology or musculoskeletal radiology. Those doctors would be best qualified to perform and then interpret the study.
