You will need to have your physician request an official reading. They will then import your images into their system and read your study. The techniques used to acquire the images may be slightly different; however, rendering an accurate reading should be easy.

Qualifications: The most important difference is in the qualifications of the interpreting radiologist. For example, there are radiologists with fellowship/additional training in neuro radiology or musculoskeletal radiology. Those doctors would be best qualified to perform and then interpret the study.
