2,000,000: A woman is born with 1-2 million eggs (we think!).

Woman's eggs: Unlike men, who produce new sperm daily throughout most of their lifetime, women are born with all their eggs in one — to be more precise, a woman is born with about one to two million immature eggs, or follicles, in her ovaries.

2 million: So it's reported. 400, 000 at puberty and less than 100 or so at menopause. Where do they go? Women lose eggs on a periodic basis no matter what the state; pregnancy birth control etc. Probably 100's every 3 to five days.
