I : I can understand your concern, but please do not restart the pills without talking with your gynecologist. After a certain age, birth control pills can be risky, including for women with any cardiovascular risk factors (for stroke, heart attack, etc), and especially in women who are smokers or if they happen to be overweight. Please see your doctor and have an examination and discuss your risk factors for oral contraceptives.
