A member asked:

What kind of medical follow-up do i need after chin augmentation? will i need to follow up with my surgeon after chin augmentation? if so, when and how many times?

You : You will of course have follow up appointments with your plastic surgeon to check incisions and healing after your chin implant. There may be sutures that need removal, usually within a week or less. I would typically see this patient at post op day 1, day 7, then again in 6 weeks to check progress... Best of luck to you!

Most : Most surgeons will want to see you again in a week or two after surgery and then a few weeks after that to look for any signs that something is not healing properly.
