Two : Two good options are the implanon, which is a rod that is inserted under your arm and lasts three years. Another option is the Mirena (levonorgestrel) which is inserted in the uterus and lasts 5 years. Both of these have some cramping and bleeding for a few months and then periods usually stop completely.
