Nose : Nose bleeds are common and usually easily stopped with firm pressure and head up position. If they are frequent, you may need to consult your ent.

Squeeze : Squeeze your nostrils together with your thumb and forefinger for 10 minutes. Lean forward so you don't choke on blood. Sit up so your nose is above your heart. If it fails to improve after 2 attempts, consider going to an emergency room or the otolaryngologist. Afrin nasal spray may help and can be tried once. Finally consider applying petrolatum jelly to the nostril after the bleed and avoid lifting heavy objects for at least a day.
