In the past 6 weeks i have had 3 major nose bleeds the blood almost spurts out of my nose leading to profuse bleeding which takes 30 -45 min to stop ?

Cauterize: This sounds very disruptive! Most likely its a brittle vessel high up in the nose. See an ENT who can cauterize it and check for anything suspicious up there.
