Alergy season? i am taking claratin once a day, but my eye are still itchy and watering. minor sneezing every once in a while, but my eyes are killing me. are there any other over-the-counter medacines i shoudl try or do i just need to stick it out?

You : You could try flushing your eyes with saline...But the best thing is patanol (olopatadine)...Its an eye drop antihistamine.

You : You should see a physician. Often the otc meds are not that good for allergic conjunctivitis- which is what you may have. Likely you will need a presciption rx. There are otc allergy eye drops, but they may not sovle the problem. An eye doctor can confirm that the problem is allergic and not something else.

I : I agree that you should check with your provider. If you are going to try an otc eye drop you may want to try zaditor (ketotifen).
