No...: There is no cure for copd. If the COPD is severe enough, lung transplant surgery may be considered and if both lungs are completely replaced by lungs without any COPD present, then and only then would the person no longer have copd. They would then need to never smoke and avoid second hand smoke as well to keep the new lungs healthy. As transplant is a rare outcome, there is really no cure.
