Will i be able to eat solid food after chin augmentation? how soon after chin augmentation until i can eat solid food?

I : I normally tell my patients that they can advance to solid foods the day of their procedure. Your surgeon may have different recommendations so follow the instructions your surgeon gives you.

You : You can eat solid foods immediately after your chin implant, but i always suggest that patients avoid hard food like apples or raw vegetables for a couple days. Having said that, follow your surgeon's instructions.

Food After Chin Aug: Food after chin aug if your chin augmentation was performed through the mouth, you will be on a liquid or soft-foods diet for a few days while your mucosal skin heals. You will rinse your mouth out regularly to keep the incision clean. The sutures will dissolve on their own over the course of a few weeks. For an incison made beneath your chin you can eat solid food immediately.
