Hi. : Hi. Don't know how far along you are in your pregnancy. Have you had any blood pressure problems or protein in your urine during your pregnancy? If you are early in your pregnancy, headaches, mild cramping and lack of energy can be normal. However, unbearable back pain and cramps are not. If you are in the first 8 weeks of pregnancy and you develop severe weakness and dizziness with low blood pressure (or possibly vaginal spotting / bleeding) then you should be evaluated at the emergency room. If you are at any stage of your pregnancy and you have burning with urination, you could have a urinary tract infection. This can become quite serious in pregnancy, especially if the infection travels up to the kidney. If you are over 20 weeks along and you have a severe headache and pain with a sudden increase in your weight or swelling of your hands (a lot more swelling than normal for your feet)or your face especially if you have nausea or vomiting, visual changes or you are urinating less, you should be evaluated at the emergency room. Regardless, your severe back and abdominal cramping with a bad headache, need to be checked out. I recommend that you be evaluated at the emergency room to rule out any serious causes for your symptoms. If you are feeling too ill, you may need to call 911 to be transported by ambulance.
