I took a home pregnancy test almost 3 weeks after having sex, is it most likely to be accurate? i want to trust the home pregnancy test, but i am not sure. i cannot get a blood test.

Yes : Yes it probably is. However be patient and wait a week for your period, if still nothing repeat the test. At that point if you still do not menstruate you may need a blood test and perhaps something to get your period started. Hope this helps.

Reliable : If you did the test corectly and it was positive, it is reliable. If it was negative, repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully. Given your age a week positive result will require confirmation with a blood test.
