Maybe, see a Dentist: Many dental insurance contracts are written specifically to allow benefits for crown only when the tooth is sufficiently broken down. They may also only cover the least costly metal (not gold) crown. Also, there may be a clause in your insurance contract stating you have to be covered for a certain amount of time (like 1 year) before they pay benefits for major category dental procedures.
