Your : Your pain could be something called mittelschmerz. This is one-sided lower abdominal pain that occurs close to the time the egg is released from an ovary (ovulation). On the other hand ovarian cysts can cause this type of pain as well. Lastly you could be noticing this pain more now that you are off the pill because while on the pill you do not ovulate. Let me reassure you that this will likely have no affect on your fertility in the future, so try to relax and not worry. If the pain persists or you are very concerned, visit your family doctor or gynecologist for an evaluation. Best of luck.
