Any : Any blood in the urine (called hematuria) is abnormal and your son should be evaluated by a doctor. There are hundreds of causes for blood in the urine - some of which are mild, some of which can be life-threatening. The amount of blood in the urine does not correlate to the severity of the problem, so even a little blood should be looked into by a doctor. Good luck!

Please take him: to see his doctor for a proper evaluation. There are many causes for blood in the urine and he should be examined and have a test of his urine, and possible other blood tests to figure out the cause and any treatment he might need. Hope all goes well.
