I : I just addressed this in another question about hand and feet. What happens is that the skin can get affected become macerated, irritated and friable. However as i stated the reasons for the hyperhydrosis are numerable and you should start with your family doctor to see if treatment is needed.

Hyperhydrosis?: It could be impractical & embarrassing. See your physician to determine if she has palmar hyperhydrosis. An overactive sympathetic nervous system may cause arterial narrowing & ^ sweat gland stimulation. Decrease in blood flow can make hands cold & clammy. Some cases are associated with obesity & ^'ed thyroid function. ^'ed environmental temperature & stress can ^ symptoms.
