Atarax (hydroxyzine) : Atarax (hydroxyzine) is the brand name for Hydroxyzine - in other words they are the same thing, so taking them together would give you a double dose and would not be a good idea. Hydroxyzine (atarax) also has a moderate interaction with Flexeril in which together, they can cause you to be very drowsy. You should not do any tasks which require mental alertness (such as driving) when taking both medications. This side effect can be even more dangerous in elderly or debilitated people. The other things to watch out for when taking both of these medications are for blurry vision, abdominal pain, heat intolerance, fever, confusion or hallucinations since these can be a sign of toxicity. If you are having any of these side effects, call your doctor immediately.

Toomuch: Atarax (hydroxyzine) and hydroxine one and the same thing . You can take along with flexeril. Remember lessr pill the better and take only if you need it. You did not say your age, as in pediatrics pts lesser dose and no flexeril.
