The : The short answer here is to tell your doctor about this pain and request a pelvic ultrasound. You could very well be dealing with an ovarian cyst(s). They can often cause pain around the time of your period. Also you could be dealing with uterine fibroids (benign tumors of the utreus). These will also cause pain around the time of your cycle. Make sure you get a pelvic ultrasound. Good luck.
