A member asked:

In which cases does viagra help? does viagra and similar drugs help with infertility or impotence... basically, in which cases do they help, and which don't they? if my penis doesn't get rock-hard, just semi-hard, and with a lot of stimulus, would it help

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Viagra (sildenafil) : Viagra (sildenafil) is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (otherwise known as impotence), therefore it helps achieve and maintain an erection. It does not have any affect on sperm count or quality etc. On the other hand , it can indirectly help with infertility if the problem is due to the male partner not being able to achieve erection and ejaculate. Please speak to your doctor to find out if you are a good candidate for viagra (sildenafil) treatment. Best of luck.
