Some : Some people are prone to growing skin tags. They tend to grow in areas where skin rubs on skin (eyelids, neck, under arms, etc). They are benign. They are easy to remove and will not grow back... But you will grow more. Hope that helps.

Repeated trauma: The cause of skin tags is not entirely clear and some have a genetic predisposition. They are usually found in skin folds (neck, axilla, groin) and likely have something to do with repetitive trauma in these areas.

Skin : Skin tags develop in areas of friction such as the armpits, neckline, under the breasts, and in the groin. It is felt they are due to friction, heredity, obesity, and other factors but essentially anyone can get them. The skin tags (check out more info below) that are removed will often slowly be replaced by new skin tags that are developed but it depends alot on the factors above. I hope that helps!
