Is it bad if i need a few beers to get to sleep everynight?

Very bad.: Alcohol has strong tachyphylaxis - it gets less effective over time if used frequently. See a doctor - the need is likely to increase if left untreated.

Yes: Mainly because it will cause you to wake up after the alcohol wears off, and because it will eventually take more than a "few" to put you to sleep. Looking at why you cannot sleep, eliminating caffeine in your diet, reduction of late night activities, regular sleep habits are all much better than using beer as a sleeping pill, or using any kind of sleeping pill. Ur doc/sleep specialist can help.
