I : I don't think you have parasites. You probably are having muscle spasms. This is usually a benign process (harmless). This is usually caused by irritation of a nerve or a virus. There is a condition called "benign fasciculation syndrome" where we get muscle spasms but nothing bad happens to the patient. If it continues, if you have pain, if you have weakness, or have muscle spasms elsewhere you should be evaluated medically.
