No, : No, there are not typically barbiturates or benzodiazepines in an epidural. Sometimes medications are administered through an IV at the time of an epidural, and those should be recorded in the medical record and available for review.

No : Barbiturates or benzodiazepines are never given via epidural. It is possible you were given something intravenously during delivery however.
