Regular use of OC's: When taking an oral contraceptive it is imperative to take the pill every day about the same time each day. Adherence to this regimen will allow the most efficacy for this method. Using a "back up" physical contraceptive is assuring to prevent pregnancy for the initial month of pill use. If no period at the end of this cycle, please do a pregnancy test.
