Treat vs cure: Most of the patients that i treat for insomnia have profound symptoms. I treat wounded warriors with traumatic brain injuries & post traumatic stress disorder. Many did not have a satisfactory response to medications alone. The addition of acupuncture has helped most significantly. However, the effects are not permanent & require repeated treatments. The insomnia isn't cured but it helps.
