If : If you are using condoms, a lubricant, or anything on the penis or vagina prior to sex then he may be having an allergic reaction. On the other hand, he may be dealing with tinea cruris (jock itch) a trial of an over the counter medication like Clotrimazole can be tried. If this does not relieve his symptoms and he continues to have the problem he should seen by his primary care provider.

"Environment allergy: The vagina may contain substances that your husband is "allergic" to such as soaps, douching materials, vaginal insets (Norforms), or a lubricant or toy used prior to or doing the sexual encounter. Eliminate as many of the above items as possible and see a GYN MD if the itching continues.
