Need GYN MD exam: Heavy inter-menstrual bleeding is a concern. A pregnancy test may not be positive at this point if it is a miscarriage, however a GYN MD exam can start the investigative process to find out why. By the way, tubal ligation's can and do fail so have your GYN MD run a blood quantitative pregnancy test which can pick up small amounts of the pregnancy hormone, hCG.
