Pain : Pain above your belly button could be many possibilities. If you think there is any chance you could be pregnant then take a test, and if it is positive then you must be seen immediately if you are having pain. The gallbladder is above your belly button (umbilicus) and to the right and can cause pain. Pain in the middle above your umbilicus can be an ulcer or irritation to the stomach. Pain on the left can be the pancreas. Please be medically evaluated by your doctor. If you develop increased pain, any chest pain, vomiting or fever then you need to be seen immediately.

Menstrual period: Most likely related to menses, if you are able to take a deep breath, walk, bend over, eat and are moving your bowels, you may watch and wait. If pain is severe or interfering with usual activities, you will likely seek direct care from your medical team.
