I : I can understand your concern with her symptoms. It is definitely abnormal to have vomiting for a month in a teenager. These could be especially important with her hirshsprung's disease. I think that seeking a second opinion is always a good idea if a diagnosis is unclear. If she develops abdominal pain, fever, or new symptoms then she must be seen immediately.

Not normal: She needs to see a GI specialist. She could have an intermittent blockage which can be extremely serious and also very hard to diagnose.
