Coitarche : Coitarche is the term used for the first episode of coitus or sexual intercourse. Bleeding during and after coitarche is often associated with hymenal laceration. If the bleeding continues to increase you should be concerned and seek examination. It should have subsided by now. There are other causes of vaginal bleeding that may have coincided with coitarche so any persistent, abnormal bleeding should be evaluated.
