A : A normal blood pressure for an adult is 120/60. Your blood pressure is high and should be assessed by a doctor. A high blood pressure can indicate high levels of cholestrol in the body. Also, hypertension can be damaging to the vessels and tissues of the cardiac muscle. Your blood pressure isn't too high, but it is definitely in a treatable range.
