That depends: Toddlers feeding drives us crazy & vitamins are often given to fill some projected need.Yet, their growth rate has changed from a 14lb/yr to a 4--5 lb/yr.I expect them to feed well 3-5 days a month & graze the rest.Most get a balanced week/never a balanced meal. Vits are ok but seldom needed.Candy vits can lead a kid to ingesting meds from someones purse, so i like the liquid vits untill older.

Yes: Yes. Each child should get a multi vitamin with iron to help replace the vitamins he/she is not getting through his/her diet.
