A member asked:

I had a foley catheter which came out with the bulb fully inflated. how is this possible? i had severe spasms for 3 days before it came out.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple reasons: The bulb was probably underinflated or the valve was leaky and led to the catheter being pulled out with bulb partially inflated.
