At present, intestine: Neobladder-see response to neobladder; also possible option is an intestinal conduit. An intestinal conduit like a neobladder employs the intestine, but is not continent. The conduit allows passage from the kidney to the ureter to the conduit and into a bag (ostomy). A neobladder is typically catheterized to drain the urine.

A piece of: Intestine is used, seal at either end, and a device leading from it to the skin. The pouches can be "continent" meaning the device can be manipulated to empty, or a colostomy like bag can be used. Ask the urologist for more details.
