Check it now: If you have a prostate tumor of any size, i would recommend having it checked out. If it is a cancer, the sooner you know it the better.

I agree with Dr. Porch. In fact, some recent studies have shown that men diagnosed with prostate cancer in smaller prostates were more likely to have high grade (more aggressive) cancers found when the prostate was removed. So, don't delay.

Prostate tumors: Your question needs to be more specific. If your prostate is abnormal it needs to be check by a urologist.

Not big: If you have a tumor, you need to get it checked out. It is unlikely, at your age, that you have a prostate tumor, though.

No: A blow to the head can cause a concussion and also may cause serious bleeding which needs treatment. Brain tumors are accidents of cell division and not a consequence of trauma to the brain.

If I have incontinence due to prostate surgery how should I measure the extent for my doctor?

A few ways...: Quantifying leakage is valuable to the urologist seeking to manage incontinence, but it is difficult to do. Some provide the doctor with a 'pad count', or simply the number of pads used per day. A more accurate way is by pad weight. To do this, place used pads in a plastic bag (i.e. Ziploc) & weigh it. Then subtract the weight of the bag and the same number of dry pads. Add up the weights daily.

Have surgery, go on.: It's also called: papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum, and is 8x > in smokers, occurs in men and women and in 5% - 14% or cases, warthin's tumor is bilateral. Warthin's tumor is highly unlikely to become malignant. This is not to be confused with wharton's duct, which is the name for the submandibular duct. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/warthin%27s_tumor.
