Paternity: There are available tests for paternity that can be effective after 9 weeks and use a simple blood draw from mom and the designated dad. The NIPP testing is expensive and not covered by insurance but provides legally admissible information. Otherwise, the testing can be done on the baby after birth to establish paternity.
