Motion/strength: You cannot really speed up the healing of the mcl. It will take 2-3 months to heal regardless of how it is treated. However, knee motion and quad strength can easily worsen as a result of mcl tears. If you work on motion and work on quad strengthening, this will not happen and you will be much faster on your road to recovery back onto the court.
