See below : No creditable randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled scientific studies exist supporting the use of “herbal” supplements for prostate problems. Many scams and false and misleading advertising. Quality, safety, and side effects vary. Beta-sitosterol, saw palmetto, stinging nettle, ryegrass pollen, pygeum, quercetin, lycoprene et al have provided benefit for some. Caveat emptor (buyer beware)!
