I : I would recommend that you see an endocrinologist. This is a doctor who specializes in hormones and also often does cholesterol as well. You would be able to have both issues addressed at the same time. There is an excellent endocrinologist by the name of dr. Michael shannon who practices in the olympia area, you should be able to find his profile on avvo.

Xanthelasma: Xanthelasma (cholesterol deposits around the eye) can occur even if systemic cholesterol is normal. If the deposits bother you, you can get them removed.
