How can i tell the difference between a hemorrhoid and an enlarged prostate?

Examination: A hemorrhoid is an enlargement of the veins around the anus. This can be seen at the opening of the anus or may slightly internal to the opening of the anus. Prostate swelling is further in but is not related to the hemorrhoid and is not part of the colon.
