Penicillin : Penicillin is best absorbed on an empty stomach, but if you are experiencing a lot of discomfort, it is a medication you can take with food, also. This may alleviate any nausea or pain caused by penicillin. The other side effect many people complain of with antibiotics in general is diarrhea. You can try eating probiotic foods such as live cultured yogurt which may help. If these symptoms are worsening or intolerable, please contact your doctor to discuss.
