How do i diagnose type 1 diabetes? i've been feeling very sick and my family has a history of type 1 diabetes. i was wondering if you knew how to diagnose it.

The : The symptoms of type 1 diabetes are excess thirst and urinating and weight loss. If you are having these, a doctor can do a simple blood test to make the diagnosis. Type 1 diabetes isn't handed down in the family very often- maybe 5% of the time.
